Designer villa with art studio near Lucca

About this house

You'll find yourselves in a historic villa reimagined by Dutch designer Grietje, who has created a sanctuary for creative minds. Following a complete 2025 renovation, the interiors blend minimalist design with warm natural materials. Beyond the main living spaces, an art studio, gym, and hammock await your use.

Polished concrete floors, neutral tones, and curated furnishings create a calm atmosphere throughout. The main living area features a fireplace for cooler evenings, whilst the fully equipped kitchen invites culinary exploration. Each space flows naturally, designed for both relaxation and creative pursuits.

Manicured gardens host multiple terraces for dining and lounging, a barbecue area, and an outdoor shower. The swimming pool and hot tub are positioned to capture views over the rolling hills and Serchio River valley below. A private forested landscape surrounds the property, creating complete tranquillity.

Lucca's Renaissance walls are just minutes away — cycle or stroll the tree-lined ramparts for panoramic views. The Tuscan coast lies 30 minutes south, with beaches at Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi. Pisa is 35 minutes away, Florence an hour, and the Chianti hills and Garfagnana mountains offer exceptional hiking routes.
