Cottage near the sea and rauk fields on Gotland

About this house

Here you'll find a living area where there's room for everything in life. The kitchen, dining area, fireplace, and sofa are all gathered under one roof. Large windows let in light that washes over the soap-scrubbed wooden floors. A simple yet charming cabin that offers a sense of peace.

Harmonious colours of white and wood create a serene atmosphere throughout the entire home. The bedrooms are simple, with space for what you need—a bed, a lamp, and somewhere to hang your clothes. The living area, with its open layout, naturally becomes the hub where you gather. Here, you’ll experience the simple, authentic cottage life, complete with an outhouse and an outdoor shower in the garden.

A large, secluded garden awaits outside. Here you’ll find apple trees, cherry trees, wild strawberries, blackberries, gooseberries, plums, and horseradish. It’s lush and verdant, with a large lawn where children can run freely.

Through the Malmskyllaj rauk field, you can reach the swimming dock and the harbour in five minutes on foot. Bike to the Smöjen limestone quarry, the Hideviken sandy beach, or the rauks at St. Olofsholm. Visit the Rute stone-oven bakery for freshly baked bread or Lergrav for fish right by the water.
