About this house
The West Wing forms part of the main building at Gyldensteen Manor and overlooks the moat and the old park. We've carefully renovated the flat with respect for the building’s history, yet furnished it to make you feel at home from the very first moment—warm, relaxed, and far from formal.
High ceilings, period details, art and furniture steeped in history, blended with more contemporary design, give the flat its unique character. There are three bedrooms, two sitting rooms and two bathrooms, so there’s plenty of space for both families and friends. From virtually every room, you’ll have a view of the moat and the park.
Outside, you've got your own terrace. As guests, you also have access to Gyldensteen's private park and forest, where you can take walks along the old paths and around the moat—a part of the estate that isn't normally open to the public.
Right next to the estate lies Gyldensteen Beach, a large natural area with birdlife and sweeping views—a perfect spot for a long walk. In Bogense, you can stroll along the harbour and marina, buy an ice cream, and soak up the atmosphere of the old market town with its narrow streets and charming houses.
