About this house
You will find your sanctuary in this architect-designed summer house by its own lake, where 'controlled views' of nature create a unique connection between indoors and outdoors. Large windows open up completely, allowing nature to move in. There is room here for two people seeking peace and contemplation – with a book, on the terrace or with a fishing rod in the rowing boat.
A freestanding fireplace in the center of the house spreads warmth and light to the living room, dining area, and kitchen. Everything inside has been built by a cabinetmaker, and the kitchen in particular shows both courage and aesthetics. Classic designer furniture and beautiful art on the walls create a lively expression.
The grounds cover a full 18,000 m2 with your own lake right outside the door. The fine rowboat awaits peaceful trips on the water, and the large windows frame nature's changing expressions through the seasons.
Hike to the German Tower for views of Samsø and Hjelm, and continue to the beach at Sletterhage Lighthouse, where you can often see porpoises playing close to the coast. Ellemandsbjerget offers 270-degree sea views. Ebeltoft is 25 minutes away with the Malt Factory, the Glass Museum, the frigate Jylland, and cozy cafes by the water.
