About this house
You’ll be staying in Kartoffelrækkerne—a unique street lined with original workers’ housing right in the heart of Copenhagen. The heart of the street is a pedestrian zone with a playhouse and small vehicles where children play every day. There are benches and tables with umbrellas under a large tree where you can relax.
The house features painted floors and classic Danish design furniture. Every piece of furniture has been carefully selected, and art adorns the walls. The 2.5-meter-long dining table brings children and adults together for delicious meals. A large collection of books and LPs reflects our love of reading and music.
You have both a small front yard of about 30 m² and a backyard of the same size with patio furniture. Morning sun in the backyard, sun all day in the front yard, and evening sun mean you can always find a sunny spot.
Østerbro offers great restaurants, cafés, and bakeries just a few minutes’ walk away. The National Gallery of Denmark is right around the corner. By bike, you’re 10 minutes from the harbor baths in the city center, where you can take a dip in the clean harbor water.
