Modern luxury and homely vibe in Flå

About this house

In the heart of Flå lies this charming cabin with a grass-covered roof, surrounded by a beautiful ski shed. When you arrive at the cabin, the impressive entrance with antlers above the door is the first thing you’ll see. Inside, everything is clad in wood, creating a warm and cozy traditional cabin atmosphere. This complements the clean, modern lines and stylish design choices throughout the cabin, creating a wonderful dynamic. Here, you can enjoy modern cabin luxury and beautiful, soft natural colors in a traditional setting.

The fireplace is the living room’s natural focal point. Sink into the large cozy nook with a good book and a cup of hot chocolate after a day in the mountains, and enjoy the warmth of the fireplace and the sight of the dancing flames—or cook together in the spacious and well-equipped kitchen. The open floor plan, combined with floor-to-ceiling windows, creates the perfect setting for beautiful natural light and also invites cozy conversations and togetherness while cooking—as you whip up the family’s favorite dishes together.

The living room’s daybed is especially well-suited for morning coffee, which can be enjoyed with a truly stunning view of the mountains. After a delicious breakfast, you can enjoy ski-in/ski-out cross-country skiing all winter long, while summer offers fishing trips on Lake Helgesetvatnet, beautiful mountain hikes, and other adventures. When you return home from a long day in the mountains, you can enjoy a warm bath, roast marshmallows or sausages on the fire pit, drink hot chocolate, and snuggle up together as the sun sets over the mountains.
