About this house
Here, you’ll live in one of Victor Schauland’s early functionalist apartment buildings on Westye Egebergs gate—designed around the principles of light, air, and views. The apartment has been completely renovated with respect for its original qualities and offers panoramic views of all of Oslo.
The kitchen is integrated into the living room, creating an open, social space right in the heart of the apartment. Sliding doors allow you to close off rooms as needed without disrupting the flow between them. Pine, steel, and mirrors maintain a calm color palette, while furniture and art in bold shades of blue add personality.
The apartment is located high up with views stretching across the city. The light changes throughout the day and across the seasons, creating a peaceful sanctuary overlooking Oslo. Here, you can relax and let your gaze wander far out over the horizon.
You’ll find Takterrassen, Hirmir, and Kaffe Java in the neighborhood—all within a short distance of the apartment.
