About this house
This traditional farmhouse offers a truly special sense of tranquility, whether you’re traveling alone or with a group. Here, you’ll be close to nature: Roe deer are a daily sight from the windows, and occasionally hares or foxes make an appearance. In winter, you can spot reindeer from the Southern Sami reindeer herding community.
The house has all the amenities you need. On days when you’re indoors, you can play board games or watch a movie, while the birds are sure to wake you with their songs in the spring and summer.
The large, lush garden is fenced and perfect for families with children who enjoy the outdoors. It offers a great setting for play and activities all year round. The garden furniture has room for many.
You can take a nice hike up the Kjøråsvåttån hill, which takes about an hour from the house to the top, where there’s a cabin. At the Fossem Bridge, two kilometers away, you’ll find a hidden gem for swimming and freshwater fishing, mostly used by locals.
