About this house
In this award-winning Halland farmhouse from 1860, you will find a unique blend of historical charm and modern comforts. The farm, which was awarded a building conservation prize in 2010, has undergone careful renovation that preserves its authentic character.
The enclosed farmyard offers modern accommodation where you can still feel the wings of history. The old stone paving and original details create an atmosphere that takes you back in time, while all modern amenities are available.
The well-tended garden features old stately trees and traditional flower beds connected by charming gravel paths. There are several cozy seating areas where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a quiet afternoon.
With only 4 kilometers to the sea, you are close to the best swimming spots and hiking trails on the Värö Peninsula. Visit the picturesque fishing harbor in Bua, explore Varberg Fortress, or take a day trip to Gothenburg. For nature lovers, there is the rich bird life of Båtafjorden and several nature reserves to discover.
Please note that this property is a farm and that the hosts live in a house on the property—they will therefore be on site during your stay.
