About this house
Your maisonette apartment is located on the edge of the forest with no through traffic, offering complete peace and quiet. From the spacious garden and both balconies, the view stretches across the Ore Mountains landscape to the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Here you can breathe deeply and enjoy nature—with a fireplace, starry skies, and sweeping views as your constant companions.
The 85 m² apartment has everything you need for a relaxing stay: a fully equipped kitchen for cooking together in the evenings, a cozy lounge area with a fireplace, and a bathroom with a wellness shower. The two bedrooms in the attic offer romantic views of the forest or the distant landscape. High-speed Wi-Fi, a Bluetooth sound system, and a TV provide modern comforts.
The spacious garden invites you to relax and linger. You share the property with the landlords, but the location on the edge of the forest guarantees peace and privacy. Start the morning with coffee on the balcony and let your gaze wander over the mountains as the sun rises over the Erzgebirge ridge.
The fitness area on the ground floor of the house is available for shared use. You are also welcome to use the sauna. For twenty euros, you can enjoy three hours of pure relaxation there.
The Ore Mountains are diverse: hike to Kahleberg for panoramic views, explore the Zinnwald high moor on wooden walkways, or visit the historic Lauenstein Castle. Around Altenberg, a dense network of hiking and biking trails leads through the region—for relaxed tours or athletic routes.
