About this house
Wendland in eastern Lower Saxony has been one of the most popular recreational regions in Germany for a number of years, and not without reason: the beautiful landscape provides space for numerous endangered animal and plant species and is ideal for anyone who enjoys almost untouched nature but doesn't want to be too far away from the city. Irina and Nils' vacation home is a special place in many ways. A modern architectural gem that blends into the landscape with its wooden cladding and minimalist design. Nils designed the house himself and Irina, with her flair for aesthetics, curated the interior, working mainly with regional and local designers. The result is a place that encourages relaxation and reflection in tasteful surroundings and offers its guests an unforgettable experience in nature. The house consists of a large, central room that invites you to cook, eat and socialize together. A separate bedroom and the gallery level open to the large living room each have a double bed. There is also space here to relax and retreat to read and unwind. The furnishings are modern, functional and aesthetically pleasing with tasteful color accents and natural materials. The natural atmosphere of the house is complemented by special home accessories carefully selected by Irina and feels airy, free and cozy at the same time. The south-facing terrace offers a wonderful view of nature, where you can catch the first rays of sunshine and enjoy the starry sky during long barbecue evenings in summer. And if you want to explore the area, you're in good hands in Wendland: The landscape offers active recreational athletes and those seeking relaxation everything their heart desires - quaint half-timbered towns, nature reserves and, of course, the Elbe valley meadows. Take your bikes with you or pack your hiking boots, because there is so much to discover here.
