A former 16th-century monastery of the Somaschi Fathers has been transformed into a peaceful retreat in the Larian Mountains. This majestic stone structure offers a unique experience where time seems to stand still, far from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The interiors retain the historical essence of the monastery, carefully adapted to offer a comfortable stay. The spacious and bright rooms open onto breathtaking views, creating an atmosphere of serene contemplation typical of its monastic origins.
The surrounding land is a mosaic of spaces dedicated to organic farming, with a lush vegetable garden, a chicken coop where hens roam freely, and a hidden area among pine and beech trees where wild strawberries grow. Natural compost feeds the virtuous cycle of the earth.
The privileged location allows you to easily explore the trails of the Larian Mountains. A few steps away you can reach historic refuges such as Vetta Bisbino, with its panoramic terrace, or the Bugone Refuge, guardian of a centuries-old oak tree over 500 years old.
