About this house
On a beautiful hill, sheltered in the forest, this natural cottage is surrounded by silence and greenery. Here you are met by ultimate tranquility, where both the horses on the farm and the rich wildlife in the forest become your closest neighbors. The cottage has some lake views through the trees and is the first to get morning sun.
The compact cottage is thoughtfully decorated with a focus on natural materials and well-being. The modern kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, and the bathroom has underfloor heating for extra comfort. The beds are made with wool blankets and organic bamboo sheets, while Manduka yoga mats await your morning meditation.
On the south-facing terrace you can enjoy long days of sunshine, protected by removable sunshades when needed. There's also a fire pit for barbecues and pizza-making under the stars. A secret forest path leads you down to the lake for a cooling dip.
In the immediate area, Glaskogen nature reserve awaits with its hiking trails and rich wildlife. Visit Lars Lerin's art exhibition at Sandgrund, discover charming cafés like Elins Bakgård, or take a day trip to Oslo. The area is also known for its many flea markets where you can make unique finds.
