La Foresteria welcomes you to a fortified village that has been owned by the same family for over three centuries. Here, time slows down naturally: at night, you can hear only crickets and night birds, and the silence has a rare quality. The house envelops you with thoughtful details: soft linen sheets, a large stone fireplace, a long 19th-century table, and a traditional stove-kitchen.

The interior spaces create a warm and comfortable atmosphere, where every element tells a story. The fireplace warms the winter evenings, while the traditional kitchen spreads an enveloping warmth. The antique table invites convivial dinners and moments of sharing.

In the courtyard in front of the house, you will find decking around the monumental mulberry tree, a giant over 300 years old, where it is natural to stop and chat. The garden offers new corners of peace, designed for listening to the landscape and feeling part of an authentic place rich in history.

Explore the Colli Orientali with walks through the vineyards, treks to the castles of Zucco and Cucagna, and bike rides through the hills. In season, try kayaking or SUP on the Natisone. Visit Cividale and Udine with their elegant cafes and prestigious wineries in the area.
