About this house
Near the coastline of Rågeleje you'll find this fine log cabin, which dates back to the host's grandparents, where the mulberry tree that has adorned it for generations welcomes you. From the lovely terrace you can gather for morning coffee and see the Kattegat in the distance. Inside the living room, those with musical talent can try out the piano while the rest of you just relax on the sofa.
Throughout most of the cottage there is bare wood from floor to ceiling with sturdy ceiling beams that give you the feel of a Norwegian mountain cabin. Enhance the mountain cabin atmosphere by firing up the stove and letting it spread warmth and coziness. The knick-knacks in the corners and on the walls add character and contribute to its unique, well-preserved look.
Nature surrounds the cottage, with grass growing even on the roof. The plot is in a natural hollow, so you're protected from the worst of the wind when you're out enjoying the garden. It also creates the perfect conditions for cozying up around the fire pit where you can roast marshmallows or make the most delicious snow bread.
