Should you turn left towards the beach or right towards the hilly nature of Mols Bjerge? That's the question you'll have to ask yourself when you step out the door of this lovely holiday home. Unless, of course, you want to spend quiet days on the sofa or on the cottage's large terrace with the sun in the sky.

Prepare delicious meals in the cottage's simple black kitchen and gather around the table to play games and chat in the large, bright family room with a vaulted ceiling. Curl up on the soft sofa and feel the peace and quiet. Through the slatted windows you can enjoy the view of the forest trunks and moss and keep an eye out for squirrels, deer and birds visiting the nature reserve.

On a rainy day, wrap a blanket around your legs, sit out on the covered terrace and enjoy the drumming of the drops on the roof and the fresh, lush smell of rain-soaked leaves. Of course, when the sun is shining on hot summer days, it's time to hit the beach and dive into the waves of the Kattegat. The vast, wild Mols Bjerge National Park offers some of the country's best hiking routes and views from hills and ridges, regardless of wind, weather and season.
