The coastal path directly behind the cabin stretches both south and north, with beautiful and varied landscapes. In summer, you can head to the cozy swimming area Foten, with playgrounds for children and young people, a sand volleyball court and a jetty with a bathing raft. From here, those who love to walk can hike along several nice trails in the area. If you want to explore more than just Gressvik, you can take a trip to Gamlebyen in Fredrikstad, which is definitely worth a visit when you're in the area.
