About this house
On a beautiful hill, sheltered in the forest, this natural cottage is surrounded by silence and greenery. Here you can enjoy total privacy while two friendly horses keep you company at the back of the cabin. The cottage is located at the top of the hill and is mostly protected, right next to the horses. The south-facing terrace allows you to enjoy the sun all day, with removable sunshades providing pleasant shade when you need it.
The cottage is compact but well equipped with a modern kitchen with induction hob, a bathroom with underfloor heating and a rain shower, and a comfortable bed made with organic bedding. The thoughtful furnishings include a wood-burning stove, a combined washer and dryer, and yoga mats for morning yoga sessions.
On the spacious terrace there is a fire pit where you can grill and bake pizza under the stars. The garden blends naturally into the surrounding forest, where you can wander freely and perhaps spot the area's rare white moose.
Nearby, Glaskogen Nature Reserve is waiting to be explored, and cultural experiences can be found at Rackstad Museum and Sandgrund. Visit charming cafés like Elins Bakgård or discover the local textile history at Klässbols Väveri. Oslo is within easy reach for a day trip.
