About this house
This studio's located right in the heart of Oslo, but it's the sound of the Akerselven River's rapids that lulls you to sleep—not traffic noise. The host's friends created the art that adorns the walls, and personal touches give the room its own unique character.
The studio's thoughtfully furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen's fully equipped, so you can easily cook a proper meal and invite a new acquaintance over for dinner. You also have access to a shared laundry room one floor up.
The flat has a veranda, and right outside is the urban garden Markens grøde. There, you can stroll around and pick an apple if it’s in season—the hostess’s small plot for growing food and flowers is part of the garden.
The Akerselva River flows right outside, and you can take a walk along the riverbank. Nearby, you’ll find Supreme Roastworks and Tim Wendelboe for coffee, Åpent Bakeri and Frida Bakery for bread, Mathallen Vulkan and Meny Ringen for groceries, and Nektar Vinbar or Le Benjamin Bar & Bistro for dinner—reservations are recommended.
