On a rainy day, you can watch a good movie together or get your knitting out while the fire crackles in the wood-burning stove. In the bedrooms, you'll again be embraced by a carefully curated color palette and feel a sense of calm with everlasting flowers on the windowsill and bamboo headboards. In one room, you can get the feeling of curling up in a cave and just closing your eyes in a sun mist. In the other, you can gather in the evening and watch a beautiful sunset. When you need to shower, you don't have to worry about whether there's enough hot water for the next person in line. There's a flow-through water heater so you can soak in a hot shower with peace of mind. In the garden, you can walk around and smell the flowers or watch the life in the butterfly bush while feeling the grass tickle your bare toes. On the southwest-facing terrace, you can relax in the lounge area and take a nap or just watch the children playing tag on the grass. Set the table and enjoy the smells as you grill lobster tails or a nice roast. Jump into the hot hot tub with a cold beer and watch the light change as the sunset paints colors in the sky. You can also explore the surrounding area. At the harbor's fish house, Havnsø Fisk, you can buy fresh salmon and drink a cold rosé. At Pandekagehuset you can eat a warm, soft pancake and the children can play on the nature playground or watch the pigs, turtles or parrots. There's also a sauna at the harbor. If you like winter swimming, you can book a one-day ticket, jump into the water from the jetty and then gather for a chat in the hot sauna. You can also pack a big lunch, bring your bike and board the Nexelø Ferry for a day trip to one of the nearby islands. In summer, it's also worth keeping an eye out for flea markets at the harbor where you can pick up some special finds.
