About this house
Experience this beautiful cabin, which the hosts have named “Knatten.” The cabin was designed by an architect and reflects the dramatic and beautiful landscape of the North Sea. Here you’ll encounter a landscape rarely found elsewhere, featuring the rare anorthosite rock.
Within the cabin’s walls, you’ll find peace and harmony, where undulating ceiling structures embrace the space. The pleasant combination of untreated pine and muted green hues offers a respite from everyday life. In the living room, built-in window sofas invite you to read, while the kitchen area gives you the feeling of being captain of your own ship.
Outside, a cozy outdoor area awaits, where you can enjoy meals while feeling at one with nature, or gaze at the starry sky from a unique vantage point. It’s a place that strikes an impressive balance between the wild and the cozy.
The area offers countless adventures, from a simple hike to the summit of Hådyret with its magnificent views, to historical experiences in Sogndalstrand and Egersund. Visit Nesvåghålo on quiet days or explore the old postal road nearby. With many beautiful hiking trails within walking distance, “Knatten” is the perfect starting point for nature lovers.
