About this house
Here you’ll find a charming vacation home from the 1950s that originally housed deaconesses from the hospital in Dianalund. The house features authentic details such as the original kitchen and bathroom, complemented by a practical outdoor shower. The house is perfect for those seeking peace and tranquility close to nature.
Inside, you’ll find a simple and functional interior that reflects the house’s historical roots. The original kitchen and bathroom preserve the atmosphere of the era, while the outdoor shower lets you rinse off the salt water after a dip.
The garden is the house’s absolute highlight, with its south-facing view of the slopes leading down to the sea. Here you can observe a rich variety of birdlife, including kestrels, great spotted woodpeckers, bullfinches, and redstarts. Nature unfolds right outside your door in all its splendor.
You’re staying right next to the Røsnæs Rundt hiking trail, which is part of Denmark’s Nature Canon. The beach is less than a 10-minute walk away, and the area offers trips to the Røsnæs Lighthouse, Naturrummet, and Dyrehøj Vineyard. From April through October, you can use the swimming pier for your daily swim.
