About this house

Welcome to a house with soul. This historic house, built in 1901, is peacefully situated in a rural setting surrounded by woods, fields, and meadows. Here, you can relax and enjoy an authentic atmosphere that has been preserved through generations. The interior has been hand-selected, and some of the furniture belonged to the family that built the house.

On the first floor, you’ll find a kitchen with a gas stove, a living room with a sofa, a dining room, a bedroom, and a small bathroom with a sitting bathtub and shower. On the second floor is a bedroom with an alcove. The house has retained its original charm, and the interior reflects a love of detail, antique furniture, and porcelain. The house offers simple accommodations and old-fashioned comfort. The tap water comes from a well in the garden and is intended for washing purposes. Bottled drinking water is available in the house. There is a vacuum toilet inside and an outdoor shower.

The large garden, with its cobblestone patio in front of the house and stone fence, is perfect for long summer days. Here you can enjoy your morning coffee to the sound of birdsong or cool off in the outdoor shower after a day outdoors. The surroundings, with forests and meadows, offer peace and space to recharge your batteries. The house is located about one kilometer from Näsinge small-airport. There are no scheduled flights here, but there may be some flight activity and skydiving at times.

Strömstad is just a 15-minute drive away, from where you can take the ferry to the idyllic Koster Islands. In the surrounding forests, you can pick berries and mushrooms, and a nearby lake is perfect for swimming. The coastal road along the Bohuslän coast offers many beautiful spots to explore.
