About this house
This apartment, located in a pink building from 1956, is designed as a place to retreat to after a long day out. An eclectic mix of old and new furniture, art, books, and colorful details gives the home a personal touch. You’re welcome to step into a place that truly feels like someone’s home.
The living room is bright and airy with lovely afternoon sun, and here you can settle into one of the sofas, the reading nook, or enjoy a meal at the large, old wooden dining table from the 1800s. The balcony is perfect for coffee breaks and reading with the living room doors open. The bedroom faces the back of the building and features a French balcony and double balcony doors.
From the balcony, you can watch the city come to life, and the tram stops right outside. The apartment is well soundproofed, and in the winter, the central heating keeps it comfortably warm.
The apartment is centrally located in Majorstuen. Vigeland Park is a ten-minute walk away. The Opera House, the National Museum, and the Munch Museum are accessible by tram. The Folk Museum and the Viking Museum are accessible by bus or city bike. By subway, it takes 30 minutes to reach the Oslo Forest, and beaches and islands are accessible by tram, bus, or ferry.
