About this house

If you drive over the dam near Svendborg on South Funen, you'll come to the old seafaring island of Thurø. On a peaceful, dead-end gravel road, you'll find this lovely holiday home that exudes classic Danish idyll. There's plenty of space for your family or friends to feel at home in the personalized decor and enjoy the tranquility of the secluded garden. Inside, you'll find a cozy, homely mix of new and retro furniture, while the many unique details also add warmth to the rooms. The house has a touch of another time with the nostalgic barred windows or the retro turquoise cabinets in the kitchen. Spend a quiet moment in the armchairs by the bookshelf in the reading corner or play a board game around the coffee table by the fireplace. On the east side of the house you'll find the patio with flower bushes and views of Langeland and the sunrise over the water. On the large, west-facing wooden terrace, you can sit by the heat lamp on cooler days while looking out over the fields. Let the little ones let their imaginations run wild in the pretty red playhouse, or gather around the fire pit in the shelter of the pine tree for a cozy chat.
