Panoramic loft with sauna at Burgdorf Altleiningen

About this house

Your apartment rises above the castle village of Altleiningen on stilts between oak and robinia trees. High glass gables flood the rooms with light and open up the view of the valley. Polished concrete, raw wood formwork, and colored glass meet designer furniture and antique paintings—a lively aesthetic for your retreat.

The modern building comprises two apartments under one gable, one of which you will occupy. The apartments share a terrace and sauna, but offer sufficient privacy.

At the center is the open-plan living loft with panoramic windows, kitchenette, and wood-burning stove. In front of it is your large balcony with a fantastic view of the valley. The lounge living room invites you to relax, while the shower room offers a view of the oak forest. Upstairs, the gallery bedroom with a glass gable opens up to the valley.

In the diverse garden below the house, you will find idyllic places to enjoy: the panoramic sauna with a relaxation terrace and cooling shower, a lawn for sunbathing, and a fruit, vegetable, and herb garden with old varieties. Harvesting is expressly permitted. The natural garden provides a habitat for numerous plants and animals.

The picturesque forest and castle landscape invites you to go hiking and cycling. The castle swimming pool with sunbathing lawn is 300 meters away. In the village, there are shops, organic farms, and a water playground on the Eckbach stream. Cafés and restaurants are within walking distance or a short drive away.
