About this house
You’ll find this black-painted wooden house from 1960 in the heart of Sønderby. Large southwest-facing windows fill the home with light, while its elevated location offers views of lush greenery in several directions. The house features a living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and two bedrooms, totaling 45 m².
The interior design balances the building’s minimalist style with the classic Danish summer cottage charm. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer, and carefully selected tableware from local artisans. All mattresses are relatively new.
The private garden features fruit trees, berry bushes, and plenty of lovely spots for both sun and shade. From the kitchen, there’s direct access to the terrace with an outdoor kitchen. Here, you can enjoy the tranquility beneath the canopy of apple trees.
Femø’s moraine landscape features hills, valleys, and a network of trails connecting two old villages. Explore lovely beaches, the lively cooperative harbor with its general store, the old inn dating back to the 1600s, and the beautiful medieval church. The ferry departs daily from Kragenæs on Lolland.
