Cozy guesthouse near the sea and Marstrand

About this house

This Attefall house on Instön combines modern Scandinavian design with a location close to the beach and nature. Warm wooden surfaces in beadboard and plywood pair with stylish details and large windows. You'll live on the mainland side, enjoying the peace and quiet and the convenience of a car, yet with Marstrand just a stone's throw away.

The floor plan's open-concept, with the kitchen and living room in one space. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need: a hob, oven, and a retro-inspired light blue fridge and freezer. Large French doors lead out onto the wooden deck. You access two sleeping lofts via wooden ladders, and slatted walls separate them. The fully tiled bathroom features both a shower and a washing machine. Outside the house, a spacious wooden deck stretches out, nestled among greenery and cliffs. Here you can settle in at the picnic bench and grill if you’d like. You’ve got your own section of the garden and patio, with the owners living in the house next door.

Marstrand's about 3.5 km away. A short ferry ride takes you to the car-free island of Marstrand, with its cobblestone streets, Carlsten Fortress and cafés along the waterfront. On Instön, there are private swimming spots and cliffs. Hiking trails and golf courses are nearby.
