Danish design by Helnæs' edge

About this house

Just 100 meters from the water's edge, on the Funen peninsula of Helnæs, you'll find this beautiful cottage. Designed for the site at Helnæs Mølle, the cottage's simple and architectural facade contrasts beautifully with the old surrounding buildings that exude traditional West Funen farming culture. The holiday home has been created with an eye for quality and fine materials, but above all with the magnificent nature in mind. From the moment you step inside, you'll be drawn to the large alcove where you can relax for hours and enjoy the panoramic view of Helnæs Bay. Attention to detail is everywhere and the few square meters, which also offers a separate bedroom and a luxurious bathroom, are stylishly furnished with Danish design and custom joinery solutions. The house opens directly onto a covered terrace where you can grill local specialties and freshly caught sea trout or explore the historic yet newly established outdoor area that offers a wealth of communal facilities. Grab your fishing rod, go kayaking or take your loved ones by the hand and enjoy a long walk in the stunning surroundings. Just remember to look up and enjoy the clear starry sky on the way.
