Modern family cabin near Kikut in Geilo

About this house

Here you can experience the best of Norwegian mountain life in a cabin built in 2023, perfectly situated between ski trails, ski resorts, and summer activities. The large windows frame spectacular views of the mountains and open landscapes, allowing nature to become part of the interior.

The open floor plan creates a welcoming communal space where the kitchen, dining area, and living room flow naturally together. The living room is furnished for quality time with family and friends, featuring a comfortable sofa set, armchairs, and an inviting window seat where you can sit and admire the changing scenery.

From the living room, you have direct access to a sunny terrace with views of the mountains and open landscape. Here, the day begins with coffee and the morning glow—and ends with a drink and a peaceful sunset. Nature isn’t just outside the window; it’s part of the room. The fire pit provides space for cozy evenings under the open sky.

With just a five-minute drive to the Kikut ski resort and ski trails right outside the door, everything is set for active days in the mountains. Geilo town center is just 5 kilometers away, where you’ll find everything from grocery stores and delis to sports shops and cozy restaurants. In the summer, the mountains change their look and the ski trails become hiking trails. A bike, a fishing rod, or just a good book on the terrace—Geilo is just as magical without snow and perfect for hikes in the mountains or action-packed biking.
