About this house
This authentic holiday home sits on a 3,000-square-metre natural plot on the Limfjord island of Fur. Dense trees shield the property on all sides, so you've got the place entirely to yourselves. The house stands 100 metres from the water, with a view of Livø.
The holiday home's tastefully and authentically decorated. It's got everything you need for a stay on the island, and the atmosphere's consistently simple and personal. The family uses the house year-round, which is evident in the design choices they've made throughout.
The covered patio's used in all seasons and serves as the home's natural gathering place. From here, you've got access to the large natural plot, where the trees create a green frame around the house and keep the outside world at a distance.
Fur's a small island, so everything's close by. You'll find a harbour area with a café and inn, a pizzeria, arts-and-crafts shops, and a museum where you can buy drinks. Fur Bryghus offers specialty beers and a restaurant. Knudeklint, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, is five kilometres away.
