About this house
Imagine putting your phone away—and not missing it. Nestled between Otterstedt Lake and the Fischerhude artists’ colony, Maxim’s sustainably built tiny house welcomes you. A place to truly clear your mind, surrounded by rural tranquility and lush greenery.
The sleeping loft under the wooden roof, featuring a queen-size bed, promises cozy nights. On the ground floor, the corner couch with a view of the garden invites you to read or enjoy movie nights (Apple TV & DVD classics). Thanks to underfloor heating, you’ll enjoy cozy comfort here in every season.
The kitchen is a stylish space-saver with an induction cooktop, dishwasher, and espresso maker. Enjoy the treasures from the surrounding farm shops right in the garden under the trees or at the kitchen table with a view. The bathroom features a spacious shower with an eco-friendly water heater and a toilet.
Here, going offline is the name of the game: with no Wi-Fi and barely any cell service, you’ll find rare tranquility. Use the “Digital Detox Box” for your devices and explore the area on Maxim’s trusty Dutch bikes. The swimming lake is within walking distance, and the charming town of Fischerhude is just a 30-minute bike ride away.
Whether it’s art in Ottersberg or pure nature—here, slowing down happens all on its own.
