About this house

Until 1967, it was a fully operational oil mill for over 100 years. Many of its historical features remain intact today, including the original olive press with its enormous millstones, the water pump, and the pressure gauge.

For those seeking an experience off the beaten tourist track, our house offers an elegant and peaceful retreat. Guests enjoy spacious, classic-style accommodation, surrounded by the charm of bougainvillea in the white mountain village of Gaucín.

Guests also have access to a beautiful swimming pool and sun terrace, with sun loungers and a rainforest-style shower. The pool is heated from Easter to October, making it perfect for relaxing swims throughout much of the year in this peaceful mountain setting.

Overlooking the quiet cobbled streets, it offers breathtaking views: from the mountains to Gibraltar and from the sea to North Africa. Eight elegant properties, most with uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean, Gibraltar, and the Rif Mountains.

Whether you are looking to completely unwind or stay active, the area has something to offer everyone. There is a gym, paddle and tennis courts, horse riding, hiking trails, bird watching, and many local restaurants in the area. The beach is 25 minutes away and Ronda is 35 minutes away.
