Charming rustic design house with garden

About this house

Set in the village of La Nou de Gaià in the province of Tarragona, this house looks out over vineyards and open countryside, with the beach 8 km away. A covered terrace off the dining area, an upper terrace with views across fields and mountains, and a pool garden below give the house a layered relationship with the landscape around it.

The ground floor holds a large, bright living room that opens directly onto the pool and garden. Upstairs, a modern open kitchen faces the countryside, fully equipped and pleasant to cook in. A dining area with a large table sits alongside it, and the covered terrace extends the space for meals outside.

Two bedrooms occupy the first floor: a double room with its own terrace, and a room with four beds facing the village church square, where bells mark the hours from 8am to 7pm. A spacious, fully equipped bathroom serves this floor, and the large upper terrace provides an outdoor sitting area with views over fields and mountains.

Outside, the garden has a pool, sun loungers, a games table, and two pergolas that offer shade while keeping you in the fresh air. The sunsets here bring deep reds and oranges across the sky, and on clear evenings the source of the house's reputation for stargazing becomes easy to understand.
