Timber house with sauna by Lake Båven

About this house

Here you'll stay in a log cabin surrounded by nature. Lake Båven is about 80 metres from the house. The garden features a large patio with a view of the meadows and the lake. There's plenty of space here to sunbathe, enjoy long dinners, and socialise—even with a larger group. Adjacent to the patio is a wood-fired sauna and an outdoor shower. The outdoor shower's available during spring, summer and autumn. The house has a warm and cosy atmosphere, featuring wood, natural materials and views of the surrounding greenery. It's easy to slow down here and let the days unfold at their own pace.

During the summer, morning dips and late-evening swims from Klippan become a natural part of the laid-back lifestyle here. For those who want to explore the surroundings, Sparreholm Castle, Rockelsta Castle, and the Ekhagen Nature Reserve are all nearby. Here, beautiful castle settings, nature, and small roads come together, perfect for walks, bike rides, and excursions.

But perhaps the very best thing about this place is its simplicity—settling down on the patio, listening to nature, and feeling that there’s nowhere else you need to be at that moment. Here, the focus is on yourself, the tranquillity, and the nature around you.
